Kids' Programs
Kids' Bluegrass Camp
Kids' Bluegrass Camp is open and free to kids whose parents give permission and to adults (adults may be asked to pitch in to corral kids). Parents are always welcome and appreciated--but respectfully asked to support the program by helping the teachers, providing encouragment and keeping the little ones on track.
We do provide written materials, a certificate and other neat stuff to kid participants. So we can bring enough for all, please email Wendy Stockton at captainc@slonet.org or Gerry Higbie at gwhigbie@aol.com as soon as possible with the number of children you will bring to camp.
Here is a link to Gerry Higbie's Tablature Site with beginning tabs for banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and bass. The songs are Buffalo Gals and You Are My Sunshine. To receive a sound file, folks may contact Gerry at gwhigbie@aol.com.
